Talk at your camera for a minute or two, mess and all. Rant strips the filler words, tightens the dead air, burns in captions and hands back a reel that's ready to post. You never open a timeline.

The biggest mistake creators make is manually editing their talking heads. And that is the whole game.

Why this exists
The recording takes two minutes. Everything after it is what stops people posting consistently — and there have only ever been two ways out of it.
| Edit it yourself | Hire an editor | Rant | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Time per clip | 45–90 minutes | 24–48 hours | About 30 seconds |
| Cost per clip | Free, in your hours | $25–$75 | Around $0.60 |
| Skill required | Timeline editing | Briefing and review | None |
| Turnaround | Same day, if you sit down | Next day at best | Before you close the tab |
| Consistency | Depends on your energy | Depends on your editor | Identical every time |
Post four times a week and editing alone runs to roughly 200 hours a year.
That is the whole reason people stop posting.
How it works
There's no editor to learn and nothing to drag. You hand over the raw take and get back the version you wish you'd recorded.
Rant transcribes your audio word by word, finds the filler, and splices it out in the silence between words so there's no click and no jump. It knows the difference between the "like" in "I like this" and the "like" that's just hesitation.
Removing filler alone still leaves a video full of gaps. Rant tightens every long pause to a beat that keeps momentum — but never to zero, because speech with no breath in it reads as frantic rather than confident.
A few words on screen at a time, the live one picked out in colour. That's the format that holds people through the first three seconds — and it's burned in, so it survives being reposted anywhere.

One editor charges $25–$75 for a single clip.
This is $29 for as many as you can record.
It's built specifically not to. Words like "like", "so" and "just" are only removed when there's a hesitation pause beside them and the surrounding grammar says they're filler — so "so that the video converts" keeps its "so", while "So, um, the thing is" loses it. Every cut is listed in the filler report and you can put any of them back.
About thirty seconds for a two minute clip. You upload, close the tab if you want, and the finished reel is waiting.
Two minutes on your free rant, ten minutes once you're on the plan. Rant is built for talking-head clips rather than long-form, and honestly the results are best under two minutes — that's also the length that performs on every platform we export to.
The opposite. The more you ramble, the more there is to remove — a messy first take usually comes out better than a careful one, because a careful take is already slow.
